The Syracuse Church of God has been ministring and worshiping in the Syracuse/Wawasee community for 150 years. Join us this Sunday---we would love to have you join us!

We have started our fall season with a full slate of activities for children, teens, and adults! For the kids... - Every Wednesday night we host a kid-friendly supper at 6:00 p.m. followed by age appropriate activities from 6:30 to 7:30. The fun-filled activities include lively Bible stories, games, and crafts. Parents are welcome to stay or drop their kids off and pick them up at 7:30. - Every Sunday morning we host youth classes, available for ages preschool through high school at 10:15 a.m. on Sundays following morning worship service at 9:00 a.m. - Youth Bible Quizzing starts October 13 at 6:30 p.m. Our church will be starting up a Bible Quiz Team for for youths in grades 6-12. The Bible Quiz Team will compete with other churches both regionally and on a national level thrpoughout the year. For the parents... A new Sunday morning class for adults, called Back to the Basics, is being offered that reviews basic Christian beliefs based on truths found in the Bible. This class is ideal for new church goers and those who would like to refresh their knowledge. This class is held at 10:15 following the 9:00 morning worship service. In addition, two other adult classes are also offered - one class uses the David C. Cook quarterly studies and the other is an elective class that explores various topics throughout the year. Adults of all ages are invited to attend any of the three classes. Trunk or Treat is happening again due to a fantastic turnout in 2011 and 2012. On October 31, we will host our annual "Trunk or Treat" in which church members will be parked in the church parking lot handing out candy from the trunk of their cars to trick-or-treaters. The event starts at 6:00 p.m. and includes carnival games, kettle corn, and other festivities. All community children are invited to pass through the parking lot while out trick-or-treating on Halloween.
